Welcome to The Flying Pig FAQ page – where we answer your most common questions about our pork, delivery, ordering process, and more. If you’ve ever wondered how fresh our pork really is (spoiler: very), what it costs to get it to your door, or whether you can pop it in the air fryer – you’re in the right place.
We’ve grouped everything you need to know below, but if you’re still unsure, just give us a shout. We’re here to help.
All our pork is farmed right here on Mockford Farms in Limpopo. We’re a proudly South African, farm-to-fork brand, which means the pork you order is raised, processed, and packed by us – no middleman, no funny business.
Our pigs are raised in a way that prioritises animal welfare, comfort and clean conditions. While we’re not officially certified free range, we do farm with ethics and care, and our focus is on consistent quality and traceability from start to finish.
We currently deliver across Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. If you’re outside these regions, feel free to contact us – we’ll see what we can do.
Once your order is placed online, we pack it fresh and send it out with our trusted cold-chain delivery service. You’ll receive a notification once your order is on the way, along with your estimated delivery window. Deliveries go out Monday to Friday but any exceptions will be communicated to you.
Delivery costs per order (so pack in as much as you want) are as follows:
Limpopo: R60
Gauteng: R150
Mpumalanga: R207
We’re working hard to keep delivery as affordable as possible while making sure your pork arrives fresh and cold, just as it should.
All our pork is delivered vacuum-sealed and fresh, unless otherwise stated. You can pop it straight into the fridge or freezer when it arrives. Because it’s vacuum packed, it stays fresher for longer.

Just select “collection” at checkout after you’ve selected Limpopo as your province and we’ll have it ready for you.
